Scorpio and Capricorn

Neither of these signs shows its hand early. Scorpio and Capricorn sit two signs apart in a sextile, an angle associated with cooperation, and their elements suit each other well: water nourishes earth, and earth gives water a container.

Scorpio is fixed water, traditionally ruled by Mars and in modern astrology by Pluto: intense, perceptive, loyal and emotionally deep.
