How a pick a card reading works
Pick a card readings started as a way to offer one reading to many people at once: a reader lays out a few face-down piles, and each person chooses the pile they feel drawn to. Here, every pile is drawn for you at the moment you choose it, with a secure random draw from all 78 cards of our deck.
Your pile holds three cards. The first is the heart of it, the theme to notice. The second is something to try, a small, practical step. The third is a question to keep, something to think about until evening. Take a moment before you choose; the pause is part of the reading.

How does a pick a card reading work?
You see three face-down piles. Take a breath, notice which one you’re drawn to, and choose it. The three cards in your pile are turned over: the heart of the matter, something to try, and a question to keep with you.
Does it matter which pile I choose?
Every pile is drawn fresh at the moment you choose it, so there is no hidden “right” pile. The choosing is part of the reading: it asks you to pause and trust a small instinct.
How is this different from a three-card spread?
A pick a card reading is a general reading for whoever chooses the pile. Our daily three-card spread is a personal Premium ritual with fixed positions (notice, release, practice) drawn once per day and kept in your history.
Is this a real draw?
Yes. Each card is chosen on our server with a secure random draw at the moment you ask, from all 78 cards of our original deck. Nothing is weighted toward “dramatic” cards. We note which cards were drawn (never your question) to count the three free draws a day, and Premium members can look back over their draws in their account.
How many free draws do I get?
Three per reading each day, for everyone, with or without an account. Premium members draw as often as they like, can turn over one clarifying card after a yes or no or love reading, and keep a history of their draws.
