Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read Horoscope & Tarot comfortably, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

Our goal

We aim for the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines cover things like text contrast, clear structure, readable layouts and support for screen readers. It is a goal we work toward and check against as the site changes, not a claim that every page is perfect.

How the site is designed

• Keyboard access. You can move through the site, open menus, draw a tarot card and reveal a spread using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator showing where you are.
• Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we turn off or simplify animations such as card flips and transitions.
• Screen readers. Pages are built with headings, landmarks and labels so that assistive technology can describe them, and tarot card images are given text alternatives.
• Readable text. Text can be enlarged with your browser's zoom without breaking the layout, and we choose colors with legible contrast.
